🚨 Critical Screening Questions for ALL Candidates
- Daily Meeting Participation: “You’ll need to be on coordination calls with the remote engineering team throughout all phases. Are you comfortable staying on calls while working?” (This is NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- 4-Day Commitment: “This requires 3 consecutive days on-site (rack/stack, overnight cutover, full-day hypercare), plus decommissioning. Can you commit to all phases?”
- Evening/Overnight: “The cutover window is typically 6 PM – Midnight or 10 PM – 6 AM. Is this acceptable?”
- Equipment: “Do you have: laptop with Teams/Zoom/Putty, 4G hotspot, console cables, basic hand tools?”
- Rate: “$30-35/hour base + OT over 40 hrs/week + travel reimbursement. Is this acceptable?”
- Lead Time: “Engineer details are due November 17 for November 24 start. Can you confirm availability by then?”
- Future Sites: “This is 70+ sites through March 2026. Top performers get priority for future sites. Are you interested in ongoing work?”
